“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”
The Nautilus Jnr has quickly become one of my most popular models. The stripped back specifications really capture the essence of the classic late 50’s student guitars.
These things really roar.
The Nautilus Jnr features a shorter vintage accurate 24.65″ scale length. This gives the guitars a softer feel and slightly mellower top end. The scale length suits the P90 pickup, which offers the muscle of a vintage humbucker but with the clarity of a single coil.
At first it can be surprising just how many sounds can be coaxed out of such a simple guitar. With the combination of a great pickup and responsive volume and tone controls, you can really ring out the tones with your playing dynamics.
While part of the charm of the Jnr is the pure simplicity there are a variety of options available to custom order should you wish too. A two pickup version would be a great option if you want the neck pickup tone.
Or if you prefer the longer 25.5″ Nautilus scale length then that’s no problem too.
59 neck profile
As standard the Nautilus Jnr’s are built with a vintage style big round neck profile. It feels like a handful but is surprisingly comfortable and within no time it feels like home. I think the neck profile is part of the vibe and tone of these guitars. When you pick up a Jnr you just want to plug in and rock out.
The definitive P90 loaded Jnr – beautifully simple in it’s execution and
brutally destructive in it’s range of tones.
An absolute sledgehammer. Seth not only builds superb guitars,
he crafts instruments that become friends for life.
