Shoreline S

The newest addition to the family for 2020, the Shoreline S is a modern classic.

Classic vibes

The Shoreline S is something I have wanted to introduce into the line for some time and I’m really happy with how the instruments have been received. Clear bell like tones, hollow and punchy and with all the resonance you associate with the very best of the classic S type guitars.

Recently featured in Guitarist magazines “Wish List” the Shoreline S is already becoming highly acclaimed.

 Balance and elegance

The Shoreline range also includes many modern features to bring it up to date with the 21st century. The easy access neck join and hand carved heel design allows the player to get right to the top frets very comfortably. The modern 12 inch fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets make for easy playability and clean string bending. There are lots of pickups configurations available too, such as SSS, HSS, HSH, and any combination of P90’s thrown into the mix

The elegant curves of the original body shape balance well either on a strap or on your lap. The maple neck is finished with a hand rubbed oil and wax finish, which brings out the natural beauty of the wood and feels smooth and silky to the touch.

 Sum of the parts

Continuing with using only the finest components as standard these Shoreline S guitars are fitted with vintage style tremolo’s with cold rolled steel blocks and pressed steel saddles. Other tremolo or fixed bridge options are of course available.

The playability of the oil finished maple necks is unparalleled. Each neck after final sanding is hand rubbed with both natural oils and waxes. It gives a soft sheen that feels like silk.
Combined with the fretwork which is a bit of a Seth Baccus speciality these Shoreline guitars are effortless to play.

Options

The Shoreline JM’s are available with a number of options, such as pickup configuration, bridge set up, neck profiles and fingerboard woods. Not to mention a wide variety of finishes and scratchplate materials.

Dear Seth

Just a quick message to say thank you so much for the Shoreline S which arrived safely yesterday I am totally blown away with her!

Such a great sounding guitar, it has the most amazing natural acoustic volume and clarity and separation. It is by far the most ‘alive’ bolt on guitar I have played, I am sure the fantastic build quality and superb choice of woods has delivered this extra tone and amazing sustain.

I think the Obeche body is a fantastic choice and it has the perfect balance of weight resonance and tonal warmth.

The Bare Knuckle veneer board pickups really compliment the guitar and sound fantastic I really look forward to hearing more of your great guitars using this combination !

I am really pleased with this guitar it is fantastic , thanks again for your superb workmanship

Best regards

Paul
